Bench Creek Ranch is a local ranch in the Stillwaters of Fallon, NV. We are well known for introducing Gascon cattle, a prized breed from the Pyrenees mountain range of France and Spain, to the United States. Whether out on open range or on the farm, Gascon cattle's docile attitudes, easy calving, and hard hooves make them easy to care for, while their large brisket allows them to climb high into the mountains for optimal grazing. These qualities make them a great asset in any condition or terrain.  

With our unique breed being a substantial carcass for beef production, we have also become the producer of Promega Meats, a leading provider of beef rich in Omega-3 fatty acids. Our beef gains this excellent nutritional quality through a diet supplemented with Bench Creek Ranch's proprietary Promega Feed.

The ongoing mission of Promega Feed is to produce the best quality and healthiest feed, rich in natural Omega-3 fatty acids, to boost health benefits to the animals and those who consume their products.

With our extrusion process, Promega Feed allows for optimal absorption for all livestock and poultry, unlocking the nutritional advantage of Omega-3.

Our Extrusion Process:

1- Seed selection: We start with high quality ingredients, selected specifically for their nutritional benefits for your animals.

2- Weighting: We precisely measure each ingredient according to our optimized and specific animal feed formulas.

3- Mixing: We then thoroughly mix the ingredients to ensure each batch is nutritionally consistent.

4- Grinding: Next, we grind the mixed ingredients to make sure the feed has a uniform size and consistent texture.

5- Extrusion: Once the ingredients are mixed and ground together, we steam the blend with high pressure equipment that eliminates anti-nutritional factors (husks and other natural coverings). This greatly increases the digestibility of the nutrients in the feed for ruminant and monogastric animals.

6- Drying and Cooling: After extrusion, we allow the feed to thoroughly dry and cool in a controlled setting to improve shelf life and ensure quality.

7- Packing: Once dry and cooled, the feed is then ready for packing. Our feeds are available in 25 lb. pails, 50 lb. bags, and 250 lb. bulk bags.

Promega Feed provides supplements for all livestock and complete feed for all types of poultry.
